What does a New Business Executive do at WPP Production?
The role
The New Business Executive plays a critical role in keeping the Growth Team organised, efficient and pitch-winning – at a time of significant growth for WPP Production. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, detail-driven role focused on project coordination, reporting accuracy, process discipline and maintaining the tools and collateral that enable the team to perform at a high level. You will support the delivery of global pitch opportunities, working closely with senior stakeholders across WPP Production and WPP. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to how large-scale, complex opportunities are shaped and won – working across different teams, capabilities and markets. You will own the operational rhythm of the team – ensuring that projects run smoothly, information is accurate, and teams have access to the right materials at the right time. This role is ideal for someone highly organised and proactive, who is keen to learn quickly and build a strong foundation in how a high-performing growth team operates. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop an understanding of the industry, new business processes, and the full breadth of WPP Production’s capabilities.
Key areas of responsibility
- Own day-to-day coordination of Growth Team activity, including trackers, timelines, status meetings and reporting
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of pipeline data and reporting outputs
- Manage and continuously improve the Growth Hub, ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant and easy to access across markets
- Support live pitch processes through Teams site setup, file management, project management, action tracking and stakeholder coordination
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather inputs for RFI/RFP responses and ensure timely delivery of all materials
- Support the delivery of smaller RFIs or workstreams, ensuring information is accurate
- Collate and maintain core collateral, including credentials, case studies and pitch materials
- Coordinate design and creative resource requests
- Support win/loss reporting and analysis, helping to identify trends and opportunities of improvement
- Contribute to improving team processes, workflows and ways of working
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders across teams
- Enable local markets by providing relevant collateral and support for pitch opportunities.
