We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Post Producer to lead the planning, management and delivery of complex post‑production projects across our UK Production operation. This role will be primarily based out of Gramercy Park Studios, our boutique post‑production operation, and will support the wider UK studio network, agency teams and clients to ensure work is delivered to the highest creative and technical standards.
This senior production role requires deep expertise in the end‑to‑end post‑production process – from editorial, grading and audio to VFX, CGI, motion, finishing and delivery. Responsibilities include shaping workflows, building schedules, managing budgets, aligning specialist teams and ensuring successful delivery across a broad range of formats, channels and content needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day‑to‑day post‑production management of complex projects across the UK business, from brief through to final delivery, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
- Build and manage detailed post‑production schedules, workflows, scopes and resourcing plans across editorial, design, motion, VFX, CGI, AI, grading, audio, finishing and versioning.
- Partner closely with creative, production and studio teams to define the most effective post‑production approach for each project, balancing craft excellence, efficiency and commercial requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, agency teams, clients and specialist post‑production talent, maintaining clear communication throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Work closely with Gramercy Park Studios and the broader UK studio operation to coordinate the right talent, capabilities and workflows across projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Take confident ownership of post‑production budgets, estimates, reconciliations and financial tracking, ensuring transparency, control and commercial discipline at every stage.
- Identify risks early and proactively solve issues relating to timing, scope, feedback, resource allocation, technical requirements and delivery dependencies.
- Manage review and approval processes with precision, ensuring feedback is clearly captured, prioritised and actioned across internal teams and external partners.
- Support the delivery of projects involving VFX, CGI and AI‑enabled workflows, with a strong understanding of the additional planning, technical coordination and quality control required.
- Build trusted relationships with editors, colourists, designers, animators, VFX artists, CG teams, finishing artists, producers and creative leads, creating an environment where teams can do their best work.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of WPP Production’s post‑production offering by bringing a solutions‑oriented mindset, strong market awareness and a commitment to modern, scalable production practices.
- Significant experience in post‑production producing within a leading post house, agency production environment, studio operation or production business.
- Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end post‑production workflows, including editorial, colour, sound, motion graphics, VFX, CGI, AI, online, finishing, delivery and versioning.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, balancing creative ambition with operational discipline and commercial awareness.
- Strong experience building schedules, scopes of work, staffing plans and budgets across post‑production projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Confident understanding of how to manage projects involving VFX, CGI and emerging AI‑enabled production workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain clarity across creative, technical, commercial and client‑facing teams.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and calm problem‑solving ability in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
- Experience working closely with senior creatives, directors, editors, artists, producers and clients to deliver high‑quality work across multiple channels.
- Strong grasp of technical delivery requirements, file formats, workflows and quality control standards within modern post‑production environments.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets responsibly, support scoping conversations and contribute to efficient, profitable delivery.
- Collaborative and solutions‑focused mindset, with the confidence to make decisions, challenge constructively and keep projects moving.
- Experience working across both boutique craft‑led studio environments and scaled production networks.
