The HR Advisor provides employee relations and project support to the UK WPP Production team. This role provides support to the HR Business Partners in managing all HR challenges impacting our employees and business.

You will deliver proactive, pragmatic, creative and business focused HR advice and solutions across WPP Production, building and developing relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with line managers, business leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Advise, support and coach both employees and managers on employee relations and employee life cycle matters.
  • Support and guide line managers, building their competence and confidence.
  • Work in partnership with the HR Business Partner and operational management teams to identify opportunities to support improved people performance.
  • Remain up to date with HR best practice.
  • Support the wider HR Team in the review of existing people policies and processes.
  • Support the development and roll out of HR projects across your internal client groups.
  • Provide support when required to the broader HR team, specifically on project work.
  • Support the HR Coordinator with ensuring all employee data within the HRIS is accurate.

Requirements:

  • Generalist HR experience gained within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong generalist employee relations knowledge with practical experience in managing cases to resolution.
  • Consistent ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to evaluate situations and define appropriate responses.
  • A proactive completer-finisher who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong personal integrity and respect.
