What is the Workshop Creative? The Workshop is a specially dedicated team within WPP Production that manages creative production across a number of assets (Print, OOH, DOOH, Digital, Retail films). The team is made up of account and creative members responsible for the creation of master assets and creative localisation across all of Rolex’s campaign pillars.
What does a Business Director at the Workshop Creative do at WPP Production? This is a unique opportunity to work on one of the world’s most recognised luxury brands across all disciplines. This is a full time role, based in Hogarth’s office in the heart of Soho. The role will be working closely with the Workshop Creative Lead, the Project Director, the account pillar leads and will be reporting into the Workshop account lead. As the Business Director, you’ll be critical to the smooth running of the Workshop team. You’ll play an instrumental role in delivering creative excellence across the team and their projects ensuring the quality expectations are always met. You’ll be experienced in client servicing and have a background in creative and production with a creative agency background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for the overall long-term management & coordination of the campaigns (internal, interagency, client), its creative evolutions and production, its operations: planning & resourcing, its reporting & optimisation, its execution & delivery.
- Leadership role for the clients, the partner agencies and internal teams.
- Brand Guardian to a creative that keeps evolving (TVC, print, digital, D-OOH, social).
- Directly responsible for the origination and mastering of print, digital, D-OOH and social creative working hand in hand with our Creative and production teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Client Services industry, working in a creative agency environment.
- A cool head. You are able to reprioritise planning and realign teams quickly under pressure.
- A self-starter.
- A clear communicator and born organiser able to coordinate large teams.
- Confidence presenting to senior clients.
- You have a positive attitude at work and embrace a ‘can do / challenge accepted’ mindset.
- Proactive and reactive: always one step ahead and able to find solutions on the spot extremely quickly.
- Flexible and patient.
- Complex creative and production planning experience.
- Production experience involving Print, OOH, Social and Digital and an understanding of localisation.
- Understanding of creative advertising world and impact on global production.
- French language is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue through strategic and organic growth and new business with a motivation to meet specific financial targets.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Expert client relationship skills – multi stakeholder environment, matrix reporting, industry POV.
- Ability to build partnerships across disciplines, networks and teams.
- Ability to write clear, cohesive and focused client communications including strategic presentations with strong storytelling skills.
- Also training Sr ADs and ADs to develop these skills.
- Authentically passionate about great work, teams and business.
- Curiosity and insatiable need for continual learning that is infectious.
