Senior Strategy Executive for Amazon XCM Europe WPP OpenDoor, London. Amazon is the world’s biggest advertiser and a flagship account for WPP, sitting in its own unit called WPP OpenDoor. As a Senior Strategy Executive working on Amazon XCM (Cross‑channel marketing), you will help develop strategic campaign narratives, work closely with 12 local market teams, and formulate recommendations for the leading global online retailer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop holistic, data‑driven campaign strategies by providing insights into consumers and previous campaigns.
- Advise clients on the optimal use of media channels and communicate complex relationships in workshops and presentations.
- Analyze and synthesize a wide range of data sources, from market and competitive data to brand measurement reports, to derive clear strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in communication planning and developing integrated upper‑funnel media strategies with a cross‑channel understanding of the media landscape.
- Retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience combining multiple data sources to develop strategic recommendations; comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent storytelling in English, ability to write clear arguments in written form – Amazon recommendations are delivered via written documents, not PowerPoint.
