Role Summary And Impact

At Wavemaker, the best projects are led by people and the environment they create. Our project management team consists of delivery specialists who build strong relationships with stakeholders and cultures that enable projects to deliver great work.

In This Role

  • Be part of the PMO, assisting and supporting the delivery of projects across the business.
  • Feed into multiple projects led by the Head of PMO / Project Directors / Managers, providing input on day‑to‑day delivery across the business.
  • Assist with the execution of projects – from kick‑offs and project planning to execution, monitoring/reporting, and post‑campaign analysis & project reviews.
  • Run smaller projects autonomously across the PMO.
  • Be an effective problem solver with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
  • Build your own knowledge by staying on top of the latest trends and news impacting the world of project management and media.
  • Have a learning and development plan to gain both technical project‑management skills across APM and Agile frameworks, along with ‘soft skills / PMI power skills such as communication, problem‑solving, collaborative leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Work on specific projects that have definite outcomes, time limits and must stay within a budget.
  • Planning what work needs to be done, when and who’s going to do it.
  • Looking at the risks involved in a particular project and managing these risks.
  • Co‑ordination of work done by different people.
  • Making sure the project is running on time and to budget.
  • Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.
  • Managing and communicating project progress and status with relevant stakeholders.
