Role Summary and Impact

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our expanding Global Investment Team, working across high-profile clients and contributing directly to our mission of driving client transformation. You will leverage your existing media knowledge and gain hands-on experience in:

  • Strategic Investment Management: Develop a holistic overview of WPP Media global investment targets, support WPP Media's advanced trading products, and identify holistic media value opportunities at an unprecedented scale.
  • Digital Partnerships & Innovation: Collaborate with WPP Media global partners. Identify and implement innovative investment solutions and strategies, integrating advanced AI and data-driven insights, to unlock new value for our clients.
  • Global Engagement: Work with our most significant clients and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across global markets, spanning Asia, North America, Europe, and LatAm, gaining invaluable international experience.

We are seeking media professionals with experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and elevate their career to the next level. Your current experience may have been built at an auditor, as a buyer within a local market, at a media vendor or within a regional or global investment management agency team. Key skills and areas of focus for this role include:

  • Advanced Analytical Prowess: Your existing aptitude for maths and attention to detail will be critical, as well as your curious nature to ask questions and understand the context and the story of the data. You will have advanced skills in data analysis and be looking to develop data visualisation skills using industry-leading tools such as Power BI. An interest in code, VBA/macro writing skills, Alteryx or Tableau will be an advantage but not essential.
  • Enhanced Collaboration & Strategic Relationships: You will further develop your ability to develop and nurture strategic relationships with colleagues across teams and key external partners, influencing outcomes. You will actively contribute to a positive environment, fostering team spirit, driving inclusion and high-level collaboration on complex projects.
  • Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: You will proactively develop solution-focused approaches, leading conversations to discuss, align, and resolve challenges, using innovation in your approach and thinking outside the box.
