About Wavemaker
Wavemaker positively provokes growth for clients by reshaping consumer decision-making and experiences through media, content, and technology. Our clients in Worldwide Activation are split into 4 specialist category hubs, this role will sit within the entertainment category hub working on the Paramount account. The Precision Manager role is perfect for an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative person with strong organisational skills who loves entertainment and movies. The role gives a unique opportunity to innovate and progress your knowledge about international digital media while being supported by the Precision Director, alongside progressing management skills with the Account Executive.
This is an exciting time to join the account getting to work on some amazing movies, TV series and entertainment channels – last year saw Paramount have huge successes with the likes of Top Gun: Maverick and Smile, and 2023 is no different with a slate including action films, horrors, and kids’ movies alike.
We’re primarily tasked to lead and activate fully custom digital partnerships and experiences to bring the magic of entertainment to life within our campaigns, bringing media first opportunities and unique campaigns to the table for our clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Become a trusted and valued client-facing member of the team with regular contact via weekly calls and campaign updates.
- Manage workstreams in liaison with the Precision director, whilst managing and being a source of support for junior team members.
- Direct line manager to the Executive on the team, managing their day-to-day workload alongside helping them upskill and develop their knowledge & experience.
- Create strong relationships working with key media partners, liaising with them from the point of briefing through to campaigns going live and post-campaign reporting.
- Developing and delivering strategy and ideation to suit the client brief.
- Overseeing & managing activations and campaigns, with support of the Precision Director, from start to finish, including:
- Media Planning & Strategy
- Liaising with Ad Ops to implement trafficking/tagging set up requirements
- Finance and Billing Process
- Campaign QA and ‘go live’ process
- Reporting
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in digital media, with a good level of expertise in digital activations working with media partners on multi-market campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing numerous workflows at once.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proven people management and leadership qualities.
- Has a proactive, logical and practical approach.
- Enjoys being creative and can think big.
- Ability to manage upwards as well as downwards.
