Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Planner Buyer to join our Duracell team based in London. The team is responsible for delivering best-in-class planning and implementation of the E&A “Bunny Markets”. This role will allow you to input heavily into the strategic planning and delivery of multiple multichannel campaigns. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of selected markets, so it is a great role for someone eager to develop quickly. You’ll be part of a close-knit planning team, however be expected to work with other teams such as strategy, e-comm and activation. All biddable activity is managed by a hub also based in London, and you will also work (virtually) with local teams in every market. You will operate as the key client stakeholder and project manage all media plans from creation to activation and analysis. This is a brand led account whereby our main KPI is to achieve top of mind awareness, as well as drive sales of Duracell batteries. The main vehicles we activate across are paid social, programmatic online video, linear TV, CTV, OOH, pOOH and audio. The brand is highly aligned with key sporting events so there is also scope to be involved in key partnerships, working with the Sports & Entertainment team, alongside the more traditional media campaigns.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Ideally will have had exposure to social media and programmatic activities (although not expected to have direct activation experience)
  • Ability to manage direct client communications, both written and verbal
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage expectations
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple projects
  • You will be enthusiastic, helpful and collaborative, and be seeking an environment where you can learn, develop, and actively contribute to the evolution of a key agency account
  • Ideally you would have been working for at least two years in a similar role at another agency
