About the role: This role is within the newly formed Global Applied Transformation function on MFG. The Applied Transformation function is responsible for implementing large-scale, global changes as we partner with Google to radically transform marketing in an AI-fueled, data-driven, rapidly changing environment. Much of the transformation roadmap requires refining existing processes, defining new processes and designing effective change management strategies to drive adoption of processes and tools.

As a business process designer and change manager, you will:

  • Lean in to transformation projects and workstreams to document current state processes, help identify areas for improvement, and redesign future state processes.
  • Lead collaboration and coordination across subject-matter experts/practitioners to understand the details of current state and impacts of transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate change and adoption through design of clear process documentation, enablement materials and audience specific “so what / what’s in it for me” storytelling.
  • Where appropriate, partner with the Talent team to leverage tools and expertise to support change journeys.
  • Challenge the status quo to ensure transformation initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities/objectives and driving meaningful change.

As a facilitator and collaborator you will:

  • Build strong working relationships across the WPP network and MFG team to ensure visibility, clarity, progress and strategic alignment.
  • Work across workstreams, projects and programs to proactively identify areas that require process redesign and change management issues, facilitating collaboration to stay on track and removal of barriers.
  • Connect the dots as needed across concurrent transformation initiatives to ensure changes aren’t in conflict with each other.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a senior business analyst or senior associate at a consulting/management consulting organisation focused on transformation programmes.
  • Firm understanding of process documentation and improvement.
  • Mastery of process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Miro, etc.) and able to improvise using presentations or spreadsheet shapes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - able to anticipate and identify hidden problems, comfortable challenging others and looking beyond the obvious.
  • Firm understanding of change management standards and approaches (ADKAR, Golden Circle, Kotter, 7S, etc.) - able to create change strategy, identify audiences and personas, create/cure required artifacts, drive and track adoption/impact.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and storytelling skills including ability to tailor messages based on audience.
  • Adept at conflict resolution and driving through conflicting priorities across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Fosters an environment of inclusive collaboration.
  • Adept at learning new technologies.
  • Proactive problem identifier and solver.
  • Embraces the opportunity to identify ways to leverage AI, automation and technology solutions to improve processes, drive efficiency and quality.
