Overview

Our project delivery team in Sports & Entertainment is full of delivery specialists who take the time and effort to build both strong relationships with stakeholders and vibrant cultures that enable project teams to deliver great work. We’re looking for a Media Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic Delivery Team. This exciting role involves managing and overseeing the production and execution of content partnership campaigns. While the primary focus is on Media Partnerships (Print, Radio, Digital), there’s potential to work across on Branded Entertainment projects (AV, AFP, etc.) and Sports Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of our Project Delivery team, responsible for the delivery of exciting projects, for WPP 650 and the wider WPP client portfolio.
- Use Project Management skills to deliver a best-in-class project delivery experience for all stakeholders.
- Have an ability to build strong relationships through emotional intelligence and great communication, problem-solving, collaboration and strategic thinking.
- Be responsible for leadership and day-to-day management of multiple projects and competent in managing all aspects of a project, i.e. scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
- Build ongoing commitment from stakeholders and bring people together to achieve specified outcomes.
- Delivery to include:
- Planning what work needs to be done, when and defining stakeholder R&R;
- Looking at the risks involved in a particular project and managing these risks;
- Making sure the work is done to the right standard;
- Motivating the team of people involved in the project;
- Co-ordinating work done by different people;
- Making sure the project is running on time and to budget;
- Calmly dealing with changes to the project as and when necessary;
- Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits;
- Persuasion and Influence - Uses a variety of skills to create discussion, reach an agreement and create outcomes, affecting the action, behaviours, and opinions of others.
What We’re Looking For: Experience & Expertise
- 3+ years’ experience at Exec/Snr Exec level, in a media agency or media owner.
- Good Knowledge of all media channels, including print, radio, and digital.
- Clear understanding of content, partnerships, and production processes.
- Advantageous to have knowledge & experience of AV, Broadcast Sponsorship & APF.
