We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Global Data Excellence Lead. This is a full time position based in the UK. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads implementation of all taxonomy, data governance and data provisioning across OpenDoor teams.
  • Partners with Amazon's tech and data leaders responsible for data management to ensure requirements can be met, opportunities for improvement are identified and communicated, and reporting is delivered according to agreed timelines and with highest degree of accuracy (98%+).
  • Clearly communicates data governance requirements to locale and regional teams, and ensures tight mechanisms in place for implementation.
  • Escalation point for regional and locale teams on all data excellence (governance, provisioning, taxonomy) both internally and externally.
  • Work in partnership with Amazon's Data & Measurement teams to compliantly and securely synthesize 1, 2 and 3P data solutions for improved, actionable audience targeting.
  • Creates codified measurement solutions that enhance learning within and across LOBs through WPP Open.
  • Synthesizes learning across the global team.
  • Governs compliant data management aligned to your rules and regulations across OpenDoor teams.
  • Supports regional Data & Measurement Leads with execution and ongoing management of global audience and measurement approaches.
  • Operational oversight of the data governance practice for Amazon.
  • Engage in cross knowledge sharing within the wider parent Organization.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in management of large multi-market and networked teams essential.
  • Deep technical full-funnel media capability, with strong data and analytics literacy.
  • Strong reputation as a responsible, accountable leader with international media management experience, and a willingness to go deep with their teams.
  • Strong and vocal in strategic communication with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders at varying levels of seniority from C-suite down.
  • Solutions oriented and high levels of organisation.
Bonus Points:
  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice and manage work 'on the road', and to work flexible hours to be available for regionally spread teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
