Overview
The Executive, Development is an exciting entry-to-mid-level role within WPP Media Sports & Entertainment. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery, planning, and coordination of creative content and partnership solutions across a defined client portfolio. Reporting to the Manager or Associate Director, Development, you will sit at the intersection of brands, culture, and media. You will play a vital role in coordinating campaign activations, contributing to creative brainstorms, assisting with client requests, and ensuring the smooth administrative and operational delivery of best-in-class partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Servicing & Account Coordination: Assist in the day-to-day coordination of client accounts, ensuring client requests are handled efficiently, professionally, and accurately. Support the broader team in preparing client-facing materials, including status reports, meeting agendas, and campaign update decks. Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day administrative tasks, helping to build trusted relationships with day-to-day client contacts and internal partners.
- Creative & Content Support: Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute fresh, culturally relevant ideas in response to client briefs spanning sponsorships, influencer campaigns, experiential, and TV/digital partnerships. Assist in drafting pitch decks, proposals, and creative concept summaries for review by senior team members. Keep your finger on the pulse of cultural trends, emerging talent, and media innovations, sharing these insights with the wider team to inspire creative solutions.
- Campaign Planning & Delivery: Coordinate the end-to-end execution and logistics of partnership campaigns, ensuring deliverable timelines are met. Collaborate with media owners, rights holders, and production partners to gather assets, schedule deliverables, and monitor live activations. Assist in gathering performance data and screenshots to draft comprehensive post-campaign reports that highlight the success and ROI of campaigns.
- Commercial & Operational Administration: Learn and navigate WPP Media Sports & Entertainment's internal operational processes, booking systems, and financial frameworks. Assist in setting up suppliers, processing purchase orders (POs), and tracking campaign billings to ensure smooth financial delivery.
- Team & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with wider Sports & Entertainment colleagues and specialist disciplines to ensure integrated campaign execution. Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and learnings from live campaigns. Leverage WPP technology (e.g., WPP Open) and media systems to drive efficiency in your day-to-day tasks.

- Strong written, verbal, and visual presentation skills (proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote is highly desirable).
- A highly collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
