Role Summary and Impact
We’re looking for a leader to develop and deliver data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and quality monitoring tools for our clients in the UK. You will be joining the BI & Data Management team, responsible for transforming marketing data into actionable insights and performance reporting across some of the UK’s largest digital media investments. This role is ideal for a hands-on data leader who can drive robust reporting outcomes while also shaping team workflows, ensuring data reliability, and championing best practices in data modelling and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Platform Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development of data workflows from ingestion to modelling and dashboard outputs, ensuring data is reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Reporting & Performance Enablement: Oversee the delivery of performance dashboards and data quality tools used by media, analytics, and client teams. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting solutions.
- Team Management: Lead and coach a small team of analysts and analytics engineers. Define priorities, shape delivery roadmaps, and embed a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Taxonomy & Data Standards: Ensure consistent application of marketing taxonomies, data definitions, and platform mappings.
- Data Quality & Governance: Drive the development of monitoring tools that highlight issues in data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across platforms and sources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with media activation teams, platform engineers, data governance leads, and product teams to deliver reliable, privacy-compliant data solutions.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience leading business intelligence or analytics engineering teams in a fast-paced, data-rich environment. Strong understanding of digital marketing data across platforms like Meta, Google Ads, DV360, Amazon, and offline sources. Expertise in cloud data platforms, data transformation tools, and reporting platforms. Deep understanding of analytics engineering best practices, including modular model design, version control, automated testing, and documentation standards. Demonstrated ability to manage technical delivery while confidently engaging with non-technical stakeholders. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong focus on data governance, quality, and documentation.
