Role Summary and Impact The Management Accountants within WPP Media are responsible for supporting the Month-End/quarter and year-end processes, ensuring deadlines within their areas are met and work is accurate; maintaining efficient control processes and supporting process improvement where possible. This role will sit within the commercial revenue accountant controllership function and will assist with all reporting to WPP (PCL and Balance Sheet) and internal Management information.

Responsibilities:

  • Month end Process / Year End variance Analysis
  • Support in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts in an accurate / timely manner
  • Provide Monthly variance analysis for your areas by comparing to Budget/Forecast/Prior Year with a detailed
  • Manage the intercompany process, complete intercompany submissions, communicate with counterparties, document variances, and take steps to resolve them on a timely
  • Ensuring compliance with ICFR (Internal Control Financial Reporting) company policies and SOX requirements so attention to detail is
  • Assist with the SOX and year-end audit by providing all relevant information to the auditors for your
  • Ad hoc projects as directed by Financial Controller, EMEA, WPP Media wider
  • Continuously reviewing current processes and making improvements to allow better control or improved efficiencies in the
  • Assist with submitting commentaries to WPP Media EMEA monthly and resolve reporting queries

Business Partnering:

  • Business partnering through engagement with business on a regular basis including Microsoft Teams/face-to-face meetings
  • Adding value to operational teams through analysis, reporting
  • Working with FPCA team during forecasting

  • Intermediate level of Excel (Knowledge of SumIFs, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP is essential)
