Account Overview
OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestlé Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for a Business Director to provide strong Analytics experience and leadership for in-scope Nestlé categories. This role offers variety, blending growth delivery for brands, strategic consultancy, and establishing a framework for delivering change at scale.

Role Summary and Impact
The Business Director, Business Intelligence bridges Nestlé Category teams and Analytics best practice. This position supports media investment teams as they set annual media budgets and optimize plans. It includes understanding the media marketing measurement landscape and explaining complex concepts in a digestible way to clients and internal teams. The role involves raising analytics standards across ZEUR, educating wider Local Market teams, and driving analytics excellence across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of budget setting exercises at ZEUR level and provide recommendations on a diverse array of channel budget optimization tools and methodologies to be applied centrally.
- Leverage Marketing Mix Models and Marketing Best Practice to achieve budget setting goals.
- Leverage Nestlé Measurement Framework to understand how each touchpoint is measured (RDM, Search, TV, Online Video, others).
- Work with markets in Europe to calibrate Marketing Mix Model response curves into the agency media planning software.
- Lead the development of consolidated Marketing Mix Model analysis for Nestlé Category teams.
- Utilize statistical techniques to apply available FMCG benchmarks to complete missing information.
- Provide relevant inputs to Nestlé Zone Europe Media Principles and localize this guide with the category.
- Integrate key media concepts into the narrative, such as reach, frequency, GRPs, carryover generation, multimedia measurement, and brand-demand generation.
- Collect relevant data assets from markets to localize sufficiency guidelines and train local cluster markets in their usage.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Applied Math, Statistics, Economics, or Management (with quantitative coursework).
- Experience in a highly analytic or strategic role; comfortable with numbers and applying statistical methods in a marketing context.
- Proactive with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects.
- Polished verbal and written communications skills.
- Familiar with techniques such as: Marketing or Media Mix Modelling, Regression/Multi-variate regression, Ad Effectiveness research, A/B tests, Lift analysis, Multicell analysis, Digital & Multi-touch attribution, and Media Mix Optimization based on response curves.
- Extensive experience delivering presentations to senior stakeholders.
