The Account Executive supports the Account Manager and Account Director in delivering AV campaigns across TV, Video, Radio, and Cinema. The role involves booking, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns while extracting maximum value for clients. This position requires strong media literacy, multitasking under tight deadlines, and building professional relationships with both internal teams and external media owners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all AV media.
- Assist in day‑to‑day AV campaign management: brief construction, negotiation, buying, daily monitoring, optimization, post‑campaign performance analysis, and trend reporting.
- Manage day‑to‑day delivery: booking schedules, reporting, trafficking, tag delivery, live checks, data analysis, and issue resolution.
- Use AV tools such as Media Ocean, Caria, and TechEdge.
- Seek innovative media solutions to support growth objectives.
- Evaluate media options and demonstrate knowledge of the AV marketplace.
- Contribute to and present implementation plans and campaign results internally and externally.
- Assist with client billing and invoicing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Mindshare/WPP anti‑bribery guidelines.
Client Management
- Meet and surpass client requests and expectations.
- Understand client industry sectors, competitors, and the broader environment.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to status, planning, and review meetings/documents.
- Maintain short‑to‑medium term business objectives and deliver billing accurately.
- Follow SOX compliance procedures and secure approvals before campaigns launch.
Internal Relationships
- Integrate AV within the overall marketing mix.
- Collaborate with Mindshare departments such as Connections Planning for integrated service delivery.
- Understand deal parameters within Mindshare and GroupM influencing planning and buying targets.
- Support the Account Manager and Account Director to meet department, agency, and client objectives.
- Prioritize and manage personal workload effectively.
External Relationships
- Develop strong relationships with media owners at an appropriate level.
- Coordinate with external agencies for integrated client solutions.
- Serve as an ambassador for Mindshare in all external dealings.
Skills and Experience
- High numeracy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels, building relationships internally and externally.
- Strong written and verbal communication—high literacy and effective phone communication.
