Role Overview:
Your role encompasses supporting the Account Director (Bridgestone EMEA) and Client Lead (Karo Healthcare EMEA) in smooth day-to-day running of the account, market coordination, supporting strategic planning across all channels, central media planning and reporting. Working efficiently and proactively and playing a vital role in communicating with the rest of the planning team and the activation team. As the Account Manager you will use your experience and understanding of both offline and online channels across EMEA markets to provide a meticulous and proactive approach to delivering high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal & External Relationship Management: Act as one of the primary day-to-day contacts for client stakeholders at Bridgestone and Karo, fostering strong, trusting relationships with them. Lead regular client meetings (e.g., status meetings, post campaign reviews) articulating insights and recommendations clearly and confidently. Be a champion of the network; forming strong relationships with all markets; surfacing and sharing the greatest work and raising the floor within markets. Work seamlessly with internal specialist teams (e.g., activation, billing, strategy) and external agencies (e.g., creative) to ensure integrated campaign delivery. Be responsive and pro-active to support the Account Director & the Client Lead and client requests.
- International Media Strategy & Planning: Work closely with internal planning and buying teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of campaigns (e.g., digital, TV, OOH, print). Demonstrate a strong understanding of cultural nuances and market specificities across EMEA to optimise media strategies. Build an understanding of both brand's verticals, competition and their business, in multiple markets, to understand the challenges and opportunities they face.
- Campaign Execution & Performance Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of media campaigns, ensuring all projects are meticulously planned, executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Monitor campaign performance against agreed KPIs, working closely with the activation team to conduct in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation. Prepare and present with support of the digital account director and activation team, accurate insightful performance reports to clients, highlighting key learnings and future opportunities. Become perfectly familiar and knowledgeable with all current campaigns by understanding strategy docs, media plans, and PCAs.
- Proactive Problem Solving & Innovation: Anticipate potential challenges and proactively propose solutions to both clients and internal teams. Continuously seek out and present new media opportunities, industry trends, and innovative approaches that could benefit our clients. Bring AI into working practices.
- Financial Management: Oversee billing and financial reconciliation for assigned accounts. Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and adherence to financial processes.
Skills and Experience
A highly motivated person with a strong willingness to learn and progress, a self-starter. Previous experience gained from a media planning & buying role, particularly across digital channels. Great communication skills and ability to talk with authority about the current and future trends, in technology and media. Has high capability and confidence in brand building and acquisition planning. Is proactive in developing inventive ideas to think beyond the obvious solution. Has a keen eye for detail and strives to improve current ways of working.
