Role Summary and Impact
Reporting to a Director or above within the Client Team, the Account Lead is responsible for project managing analytics projects across multiple projects. You are responsible for all things project management related; planning and resource management across individual teams to ensure effective project delivery; identifying pressure points and helping colleagues and clients in overcoming them; ensuring none of the project stages are skipped, and that all teams and the client are communicated with regarding every development, tracking scope changes and ensuring appropriate communication between the account teams, the client and finance – ultimately, doing everything you can so that projects can be delivered on time. It requires a combination of leadership, communication skills, project management expertise and dedication.
Skills and Experience
- Be responsible for team resource management, alongside Directors and Account Leads to ensure we have the right people across the right work so that projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Design and be responsible for the whole project.
- Independently manage all aspects of projects running across multiple clients.
- Draw up detailed project plans and keep projects on track accordingly.
- Ensure the smooth running of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure no project stages are skipped, and all teams align with the process.
- Identify pressure points and help the team overcome these.
- Identify additional areas of process improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, other teams and other agencies.
- Organise meetings with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Oversee and ensure ways of working excellence within the analytics team.
- Develop new and improved processes and roll out new ways of working such as templates for the wider teams to use.
- Organise, coordinate and create content together with senior leadership team and other team members for key client/team events.
- Take the lead in department wide resource management, alongside Directors and Account Leads to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Forge strong relationships with your key stakeholders.
- Ensure all scopes are recorded, delivered to and no scope creep is happening, unless billed for.
- Ensure all things billings related are completed by working closely with Senior Commercial Coordinator.
- Delegate up and down, co-ordinating between groups and disciplines.
- Organise relevant trainings and onboard new team members.
- Line manage principle project coordinators with responsibility for their growth and development through regular feedback.
- Be responsible for feedback surveys.
