Marketing science provides data-driven insight and consultancy to our agencies and clients to help our clients grow their businesses.

Using data to drive solutions and positioning to ensure we are driving client success (and our own future).

Overview

We’re looking for a hands‑on, analytically minded Senior Manager to turn our rich effectiveness evidence (brand, performance, A/B tests, MMM/attribution signals) and media delivery data into clear, actionable stories about how we perform—by client, channel, audience, and creative.

You’ll own the insights layer that connects campaign outcomes to business outcomes, guiding smarter planning, sharper optimization, and stronger commercial performance.

The core of the role is analysis, synthesis and storytelling: building always‑on views of effectiveness, surfacing drivers of impact, and translating them into recommendations leaders and client teams can act on.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping the way we measure success for both individual client campaigns and for WPP Media as a whole.
  • Supporting the development of WPP Media Solutions insight generation, leading on the delivery of data‑driven workstreams that improve the performance of our media solutions.
  • Managing relationships with external measurement and research partners to ensure projects run smoothly and key deliverables meet requirements for internal and client dissemination.
  • Collaborating with the wider team on the go‑to‑market implementation of measurement projects, such as the launch of new solutions or enhancements.
  • Working closely with Solutions Planning, Solutions Development and Activation teams to shape the right measurement strategy and implementation for campaigns.
  • Contributing to the measurement roadmap and highlighting potential areas for development.
  • Providing input and support to analysts within the Marketing Science team to develop new insights capabilities.
  • Supporting analysis and synthesis of findings from across the suite of measurement solutions to share learnings business‑wide.
  • Collaborating closely with the Solutions Development team to ensure measurement solutions align with client needs and are measured across all relevant channels.
  • Managing deliverable timelines and communicating with key stakeholders.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong experience interpreting campaign effectiveness data and creating compelling narratives for stakeholders.
  • Proven track record delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, with the ability to spot and correct errors before they become issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Comfortable manipulating data sets and interpreting insights.
  • Hands‑on approach with a flexible and creative mindset able to turn challenges into business opportunities.
  • Determination and curiosity, with a positive attitude and motivation.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker/Google Data Studio.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within the media landscape, especially across biddable channels and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Experience with campaign effectiveness & measurement techniques, such as reach & frequency modelling, incrementality testing, A/B testing, creative testing, MMM or attribution modelling.
  • Experience working across multiple Mar Tech platforms (DSP, Ad servers, analytics tools).
