Versatile and highly analytical Finance Process Designer with expertise in cross‑functional finance areas to join our D365 Programme Implementation Team. This role is crucial for integrating diverse financial processes and ensuring seamless data flow across D365 F&O or D365 Business Central. The Finance Process Designer will be responsible for addressing complex financial scenarios that span multiple modules or require integration with other business areas, driving end‑to‑end efficiency and robust financial control across our markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead discovery sessions with diverse stakeholders (finance, operations, IT) to gather, analyze, and document complex ‘As‑Is’ and ‘To‑Be’ requirements for cross‑functional finance processes (e.g., cost accounting, project accounting, treasury integration, intercompany frameworks, master data management for finance, financial security roles, advanced reporting/analytics).
  • Process Design & Integration: Design and re‑engineer integrated finance processes to optimize D365 F&O/BC functionalities and ensure seamless data flow and integration across various finance modules and with other business areas.
  • System Configuration: Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and perform configuration across various D365 F&O/BC modules that impact multiple finance areas, such as Cost Accounting, Project Management & Accounting, advanced General Ledger setups, and financial security roles.
  • RAID Management: Proactively identify, document, and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs) related to integrated finance processes, escalating as necessary to D365 Global Process Owners.
  • Task & Deliverable Management: Manage assigned tasks and deliverables within the overall D365 project plan, often involving coordination across multiple functional and technical teams.
  • Data Migration Support: Collaborate with data teams on master data design and migration strategies for finance‑related entities (e.g., financial dimensions, projects, cost objects) to ensure consistency and integrity across the D365 landscape.
  • Testing Leadership: Develop comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and scenarios for end‑to‑end, cross‑functional finance processes, lead UAT sessions, and manage defect resolution cycles, with a strong focus on integration points and data integrity.
  • Training & Documentation: Create detailed training materials and deliver effective training sessions, emphasizing the interconnectedness of processes and data flow for integrated finance functions.
  • Go‑Live & Post‑Go‑Live Support: Provide hands‑on support during go‑live and hypercare phases, focusing on critical integration points and complex financial workflows.
  • Global Alignment: Work closely with D365 Global Process Owners to ensure cross‑functional designs and configurations adhere to global design principles and solution architecture, facilitating consistency across markets.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in finance process design, business analysis, or functional consulting, with a proven track of working on complex, integrated finance solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or D365 Business Central, with exposure to modules like Cost Accounting, Project Management & Accounting, and advanced General Ledger setups.
  • Strong understanding of integration points between various finance modules and with non‑finance modules.
  • Experience with financial master data management and data governance principles.
  • Proficiency in documenting complex business processes, functional specifications, and integration test plans.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, and to drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
