Role Summary And Impact

We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive People Coordinator to join our vibrant People Operations team at WPP Media. This pivotal role ensures our HR department runs smoothly, providing essential administrative support and acting as a friendly first point of contact for our employees. You’ll thrive in our fast-paced, evolving environment, bringing a meticulous eye for detail and a positive, “can-do” attitude. This role is central to maintaining our supportive HR environment, offering a brilliant platform to develop your HR career. You’ll manage essential admin and contribute to continuous improvement and HR projects, helping to positively shape the HR experience across WPP Media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Support: First point of contact for employee queries, managing our shared inbox and handling diverse requests.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Verifying eligibility to work in the UK, issuing contracts and new starter packs, coordinating reference and DBS checks and managing visa expiry tracking.
  • HR Administration: Handling all core HR administration (contracts, offer letters, probation, staff changes, leavers).
  • Payroll Support: Meticulously supporting monthly payroll processes, ensuring accurate submissions on Workday and other trackers.
  • Data Management: Ensuring accurate input and maintenance of HRIS data, generating reports (e.g., CSR, holiday/absence, ad-hoc).
  • Compliance: Ensuring all processes and personnel files are compliant with Audit, SOX, and GDPR.
  • Policy & Process: Developing a strong understanding and application of all HR policies and systems.

Growth & Development Opportunities

You’ll also have opportunities to support parental leave processes, assist with reporting for WPP Media/WPP, contribute to HR system updates and get involved in exciting HR projects and L&D tasks.
