Role Summary and Impact
The Executive is an entry‑level professional role within WPP Media, responsible for supporting day‑to‑day tasks within a defined area of the business. They work under close supervision to deliver operational activities, maintain accurate records, support coordination and contribute to the smooth running of the team. This role requires basic job knowledge, good organisation and the ability to follow established processes and instructions.
Capability Description
As the Executive of Strategic Partnerships, you will support the wider partnerships team in the day‑to‑day coordination of partner activity and internal administration. You will help maintain trackers, update documents, prepare meeting materials and support communication across internal stakeholders to ensure partnership tasks are progressed accurately and on time.
This role will focus on operational support, including helping to organise meetings, capturing actions, maintaining records and supporting basic reporting activity. You will work closely with more senior team members to help ensure that partner information is up to date and that key tasks are completed in line with agreed timelines.
You will also support the coordination of WPP Media’s data and technology partner ecosystem by assisting with routine administrative activity, internal communications and delivery tracking. The role requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn and the ability to work reliably within clear processes and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Joint Business Plan Support and Delivery
- Assist with the coordination of partner meetings and routine follow‑up actions.
- Update trackers and records to help maintain visibility of partner activity.
- Support the preparation of meeting notes, documents and presentation materials.
- Help ensure internal teams have accurate and up‑to‑date information.
Strategic Client and Agency Enablement
- Support communication between internal teams by sharing information and tracking actions.
- Assist with the organisation of partner‑facing initiatives and learning activity.
- Help maintain documentation linked to partner plans and commercial activity.
- Escalate issues or delays to more senior colleagues where needed.
Data and Technology Partner Ecosystem Support
- Support the maintenance of partner lists, trackers and administrative records.
- Assist with basic reporting and data entry linked to partner activity.
- Help coordinate information required for internal reviews, meetings and updates.
- Support the wider team with routine tasks connected to procurement or partner management processes.
Skills and Experience
- Interest in strategic partnerships, client services, media, advertising or technology.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers and presentation documents.
- Ability to support multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of the media or digital advertising landscape would be beneficial.
- Experience in an administrative, coordinator or support role would be advantageous.
- Ability to use initiative within clearly defined processes.

Measures of Success
Within 6 Months: Gain a good understanding of WPP Media, the strategic partnerships team and your day‑to‑day responsibilities. You will have started to understand how Vision ’30 relates to the area you support and be able to explain the main priorities of the team. You should be able to reliably complete routine tasks and maintain accurate trackers and support basic reporting.
Within 12 Months: Consistently deliver core tasks to a high standard, demonstrating reliability, strong communication, attention to detail and a contribution to team efficiency. You will have developed confidence in supporting recurring processes and partner activity and shown steady progress in understanding WPP Media and Vision ’30.
