Role Summary and Impact

We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as an EMEA Data Excellence Director. This is a full-time position based in EMEA. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best-in-class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in partnership with Amazon’s Data & Measurement teams to compliantly and securely synthesize 1P, 2P, and 3P data solutions for improved, actionable audience targeting.
  • Create codified measurement solutions that enhance learning within and across LOBs through WPP Open.
  • Synthesize learning with the global team, and lead the EMEA team.
  • Govern compliant data management aligned to your rules and regulations across OpenDoor teams.
  • Deploy DE framework, translate client current state to future state/plan of action.
  • Regional team outreach – promote importance of DE with stakeholders and align R&R. Work with regional teams to understand regional needs and data requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in management of large multi-market and networked teams essential.
  • Deep technical full-funnel media capability, with strong data and analytics literacy.
  • Strong reputation as a responsible, accountable leader with international media management experience, and a willingness to go deep with their teams.
  • Strong and vocal in strategic communication with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders at varying levels of seniority from C-suite down.
  • Solutions oriented and high levels of organisation.

  • Close understanding of the buying platforms used by Amazon (Olive) and reporting tools (OCTRA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
