Role Summary And Impact
The Associate Director partners closely with the client as well as internal Planning and Investment teams to develop cross‑media measurement strategy. You should have a strong understanding of tools in the media analytics and research space, and will become familiar with internal modeling and technology offerings to recognize project opportunities and help interpret results. The Associate Director leads a mid‑size team as part of a larger group. You should have an interest in mentoring and developing their team members, in addition to ensuring deliverables are met. This role covers client facing performance measurement presentations on a monthly basis, data governance management with team, measurement framework build/test design, etc. Being able to manage workload of the team across multiple brands and deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Build and mentor a team of analysts (2-3 direct reports).
- Proficient knowledge of primary buying and ad‑serving tools (Prisma, Flashtalking, GCM etc) to ensure proper data quality, piping, and reporting on front end.
- Manage internal and external client relationships to guide the Analytics engagements.
- Lead performance measurement workstreams and insights/actions (e.g. Monthly reporting pulses, QBRs, Wrap Ups etc.); should be proficient in OIA (observation, insight, action) build and drive value in storytelling with client.
- Manage team and be expert in data governance, data quality, QA practices etc.
- Design and manage research projects where applicable (Kantar, Upwave, CINT, DISQO, Dynata etc).
- Evaluate vendors, technologies and new advertising opportunities across 3p Measurement landscape (cross‑media measurement, attribution, match market testing, etc).
- Mastery of proprietary Choreograph tools and systems (primarily econometric focused, data visualization, data quality etc) along the DPAM process (Specifically “Measure”).
- Lead advanced analytic requests alongside modeling team, support strategic vision of client (not doing hands on keyboard work for AA, but should be overseeing and ensuring it’s tying in to core measurement and reporting offerings).
- Manage relationships with clients / be very client facing in approach.
- Creation and execution of measurement and outcomes frameworks (total portfolio, campaign, tentpole, test & learn etc) along with Director/GDs and core direct reports.
- Experience managing a team; experience in the Health/Pharma, CPG space.
- Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables.
- Experience with a variety of the following tools and platforms preferred: Data Visualization – DOMO, Tableau, PowerBI Web Analytics - Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics AdServers – Flashtalking, GCM Advanced Analytics solutioning (MMM, MTA, Agent‑based modeling, Spot Lift, Performance Modeling etc) Syndicated Measurement: Nielsen, comScore Ad Effectiveness Research: Kantar Millward Brown, Upwave, CINT, Dynata, DISQO Familiarity with SQL, R, Python a PLUS.
