Role Summary and Impact
The Category Planner sits within the ZEUR UK team. This is a fantastic chance for a budding media enthusiast to input heavily into the strategic planning and delivery of multiple multichannel campaigns for Nestlé. You will be given a range of planning responsibilities that will help you grow into a brilliant, well-rounded planner. Aside from this, you will be part of an extremely strong team who will strive to deliver best-in-class planning work for Nestlé and OpenMind, pushing industry boundaries whilst maximising returns for their brands.
Responsibilities
- Onboard fully onto the OpenMind platforms & integrate with all key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with teams and clients.
- Work closely with the AM/AD to help develop a campaign brief.
- Gain trust of all internal & external stakeholders.
- Positively contribute to the quality of planning output.
- Support the development of exceptional, award-winning planning work.
- Be a go-to source of energy and insight in the team.
- Support implementation of "fewer, bigger, better" strategy through Category holistic media strategy and measurement (including Retail Digital Media & Search).
- Support coordinating responses across channels, thinking in systems not silos.
- Support coordinating campaign best-practice with more junior members of the team.
- Challenge the ordinary and help our team produce great work.
- Develop a solid understanding of Nestlé’s business, marketing, and the role media plays within it.
- Be a confident communications planner who demonstrates a clear understanding of our OpenMind’s Planning approach.
- Develop an understanding of digital, data, and marketing technology, and how we use them to drive growth for our clients.
- Be the go-to expert in your team for audience and category insight, ensuring all work we develop is evidence based.
- Ensure we have a seamless working process between the Comms & Implementation Planning.
- Contribute to OpenMind culture in the team – great planners with clear goals, objectives, and development plans.
- Work with GDS (Biddable Digital Team) to ensure they are integrated seamlessly within planning processes and implementation processes.
- Work with retail team to help integrate capabilities into everyday planning.
