We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, curious Account Executive to join our Local planning team, sitting within our UK Connections Planning team. Our team are local media experts who pull together highly detailed cross‑channel media plans for specific locations across the UK. This role in Local is unique and offers a great insight into the full matrix of marketing communications including client relationships, strategic thinking, cross channel planning, media buying, specialist teams, agency partners and measurement. You will get a great grounding in planning and buying both online and offline media channels across a range of clients including M&S, Rolex & BP.

We work with our clients from briefing stage to end of campaign reporting, so you will have a holistic view of the entire process. You’ll have heavy client exposure and will be contributing to meetings and proposal presentations direct with our clients, so must have strong written & verbal communication skills. The bulk of your time will be spent investigating local areas and identifying local media opportunities within them, as well as planning on a granular level (strong attention to detail is required), booking campaigns with media owners, aiding in our finance processes and proactively supporting the rest of the team. With multiple clients & campaigns to juggle, organisational skills including time and project management are necessary. You will get trained in local planning tools such as AdWanted, JICREG & Experian, as well as WPPs AI planning platform.
