The Account Executive supports the Account Manager and Account Director in delivering AV campaigns. Responsibilities include booking and monitoring AV campaigns and engaging with media owners to maximise value for clients. The successful candidate will interact with media-literate clients and is expected to be professional and knowledgeable about the dynamic AV market. The role requires multi-tasking under tight deadlines while maintaining strong internal and external relationships. The role covers TV, Video, Radio and Cinema.

Objectives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all AV media.
  • Assist in day-to-day AV campaign management to meet clients’ objectives and KPIs, from brief to planning, negotiation, media buying, daily monitoring, optimisation and post-campaign analysis.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery of AV media and administration – booking TV schedules, campaign optimisation, reporting, trafficking, tag delivery, live checks, data analysis and trend reporting, handling media owner requests and issues, and resolving straightforward delivery problems.
  • Learn and demonstrate understanding of AV tools – including Media Ocean, Caria, TechEdge.
  • Identify creative and innovative media solutions to support growth.
  • Evaluate media options and knowledge of the AV marketplace.
  • Contribute to and present implementational plans and campaign results, working with other disciplines within the agency.
  • Assist management of billing/invoicing for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with Mindshare / WPP anti-bribery guidelines.
Client Management
  • Meet and surpass client requests; manage client expectations effectively.
  • Develop understanding of the client’s industry, competitors and environment.
  • Understand the client’s business and build strong relationships.
  • Contribute to client status, planning and review documents.
  • Develop understanding of short- to medium-term business objectives.
  • Understand all buying guarantees Mindshare is contracted to deliver.
  • Ensure correct billing formats and timing.
  • Follow proper process for SOX compliance and PO approval before campaigns go live.
Internal Relationships
  • Understand how AV fits into the overall marketing mix.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments to deliver integrated client service.
  • Be aware of deal parameters within Mindshare and GroupM and their effects on planning/buying targets.
  • Support the Account Manager and Account Director to meet department, agency and client objectives.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload.
External Relationships
  • Develop relationships with relevant media owners and external agencies to deliver integrated client approaches.
  • Be an effective ambassador for Mindshare in all dealings.
