Role Summary and Impact

Paid Search Account Director leads campaign strategy, manages account budgets, works with Media Activation team, develops testing plans, contributes to regional strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Effective running of designated account campaigns integrating cross‑channel strategy.
  • Accountable for adherence to controls and best practices across channels, especially paid search.
  • Escalate conflicts between best practice and program needs.
  • Primary contact between Media Activation team and stakeholders.
  • Develop strong client and supplier relationships, communicate insight.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of search platforms, bid management.
  • Oversee development of client testing plans for tactical and mid‑term actions.
  • Strategic understanding of client KPIs, trend spotting.
  • Contribute to regional paid search strategy, provide insight.

  • Experience managing large‑scale PPC accounts via AdWords, Bing Ads or third‑party platforms; Doubleclick Search certification desirable.
  • Experience managing display accounts and campaigns on GDN.
  • Knowledge of media planning fundamentals: reach, frequency, channels.
  • Managing search vendor relationships.
  • Contributing to search best practices and campaign processes.
  • Google Analytics knowledge (certification desirable).
  • Experience with paid social, programmatic display.
