This pod sits at the heart of Google’s ecosystem. It encompasses Search, Google's foundational product that is constantly evolving to offer innovative new ways for users to get the most relevant and advanced search results. You'll also drive Brand & Rep, shaping the corporate outlook by highlighting AI Leadership, Recruitment, and key Policy areas like Privacy, Online safety, and Digital sovereignty. Additionally, you will work on YouTube, a globally recognised brand with expanding opportunities across Shorts and the creator economy. Throughout it all, you'll work alongside a large, welcoming, and bright multidisciplinary team that offers great opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow.

The Client Services team is responsible for creating the conditions by which our clients love our work. We do this by building trust and exerting influence through deeper, more strategic relationships with our clients, and by driving, leading and owning the campaign delivery process. We also foster a culture of support and encouragement internally.

Position Summary: Autonomously lead and oversee the end-to-end (E2E) delivery of campaigns/projects and serve as the primary escalation point for those campaigns. Drive best-in-class work and profitable agency revenue on assigned campaigns. Develop leadership skills and manage a team of direct reports.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Client Satisfaction: Drive client satisfaction by ensuring flawless end-to-end delivery of assigned campaigns. Act as the primary escalation point for client issues and barriers on these campaigns. Cultivate relationships with key client stakeholders relevant to your assigned campaigns.
  • Team Happiness: Lead by example in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture within your campaign teams. Champion the development of your direct reports and ensure actionable feedback is consistently provided. Recognise and reward exceptional work across the team working on your workstreams.
  • Work Quality and Innovation: Drive the standard for work quality and innovation across the end-to-end delivery of assigned campaigns/projects. Oversee the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring best-in-class outputs. Proactively anticipate risks and elevate opportunities to agency leadership.
  • Financial Strength and Operational Excellence: Oversee campaign financials for your campaigns/projects, ensuring profitable delivery to budget and accurate revenue forecasting. Manage team utilisation on your campaigns and communicate under/over utilisation. Solicit regular feedback from clients to ensure operational excellence in campaign delivery.
  • Growth and Diversity of Clients: Seek to drive growth by proactively proposing new strategies and solutions to the client on assigned campaigns. Identify opportunities to expand the agency's remit within the scope of your assigned campaigns.

Competencies (Specific knowledge, skills and abilities):

  • Strong leadership and communication skills across all platforms.
  • Ability to guide strategic direction and foster cross-functional collaboration on end-to-end campaigns/projects.
  • Solid expertise in media strategy and agency operations.

Supervisory Responsibility: Line manage a team of direct reports, focusing on their long-term development and day-to-day guidance. Take ownership of the team's ways of working for assigned campaigns and direct others as needed.

Required Education and Experience: Degree educated or equivalent professional experience. Proven and demonstrable experience in an Account Director role, with a track record of delivering end-to-end campaigns.
