Role Overview
The Solutions Planning Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of key client relationships across the WPP agency network. This includes developing strategic brief responses across our full channel mix; ADOOH, ATV, and Programmatic, and overseeing IO management and campaign delivery to ensure seamless campaign execution. The Account Manager will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping to drive operational excellence across the team. This position requires a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, strategic campaign management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, building strong relationships within the agency and being recognised as their “go-to” for queries/support.
- Campaign Planning & Delivery: Manage client briefs within agreed SLAs, developing single channel and cross-channel campaign plans across ADOOH, ATV, and Programmatic.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the day-to-day execution of campaigns across WPP Media Solutions, collaborating closely with the Activation team to ensure seamless delivery and swift resolution of any issues.
- Revenue & Pipeline Awareness: Understanding your Agency’s revenue pipeline; tracking briefs, flagging changes, maintaining accurate forecasts, and supporting the achievement of revenue targets.
- Financial Management: Aid reconciliation and management of client bookings, working closely with the AE/finance team and maintaining clear communication with agencies on any queries.
- Agency Engagement: Represent WPP Media Solutions at regular agency meetings, surgeries and key counterparts for clients.
- Measurement & Insights: Identify relevant measurement studies across key clients and coordinate delivery of assets required for measurement studies.
- Line Management: Establish, communicate, and monitor clear, measurable KPIs and performance goals for Account Executives.
- Contributing to wider team initiatives: Support the SAM and AD on ad hoc projects and play an active role in mentoring and upskilling junior team members.
Experience: Proven background in agency or account management roles, with strong exposure to media planning and campaign delivery.
