Role Summary and Impact

The Manager, Solutions Architect, is a pivotal role at WPP Media Solutions, blending strategic vision with practical execution to drive continuous improvement, growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation. This individual is responsible for designing, testing, and globally rolling out new solutions, thereby providing clients with access to new technologies, data, audiences, and advanced measurement and attribution capabilities. This role ensures a consistent vision and architecture, offering best practice guidance on implementation, and continuously evaluates the success of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our global solution leads and local teams on designing, testing and implementation of new measurement solutions.
  • Engage with our partners and vendors on a technical level to architect solutions, drive solution development and develop joint roadmaps, where required.
  • Enhance the scale and sophistication of data & measurement solution adoption by clients and markets.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in both commercial and technical contexts.
  • Able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Represent Global WPP Media Solution's interests in relevant cross-functional WPP Media initiatives.
  • Design testing frameworks and guide ‘proof of concept’ market tests to drive iterative development.
  • Identify and help test partnership opportunities across inventory, data and technology to support the successful development of new measurement solutions.
  • Input into business cases for new solutions to help illustrate their value and impact.
  • Support the research and assessment of new solutions and track and evaluate their success.
  • Input into the go-to-market strategy, positioning, marketing and training materials for new solutions, working closely with the global solution leads and market development teams within existing frameworks.
  • Actively contribute to and help drive a culture of innovation across our global organisation.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in innovation teams, product development, client solutions.
  • Data and measurement environment experience within the media and advertising industries.
  • Experience working across multiple markets and across disciplines would be very beneficial.
  • A natural curiosity for emerging technologies, digital innovation, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Programmatic advertising expertise across multiple channels.

Data and Measurement:

  • Experience in ad measurement, covering campaign objectives such as reach/frequency, addressability, viewability, attention, brand effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with advanced measurement methodologies, including brand lift surveys, attribution modeling, incrementality testing, and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM).
  • Experience working with complex datasets, such as consumer profiling, retail/sales data, and geolocation.

Matrixed Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Ability to manage relationships across multiple market profiles and business functions.
  • Comfortable planning and adapting priorities in a dynamic business environment.

Self-Starter and Innovative Thinker:

  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and align priorities across diverse business functions and culturally varied global markets.
  • Highly adaptable; comfortable managing shifting priorities and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive in identifying new media opportunities and running end-to-end 'test-and-learn' initiatives from conception to evaluation.

Data Privacy:
