Role Summary and Impact

  • Lead contact responsible for planning OOH solutions across WPP Media OOH’s agencies and clients.
  • Ensure the team delivers high-level service, meeting KPIs and agreed criteria.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives, grow billings, and identify business opportunities.
  • Showcase best practice planning and monitor quality of output.
  • Build strong relationships with media owners and monitor spend commitments.
  • Stay informed on vendor news and activity.
  • Resolve client and internal team issues.
  • Innovate client servicing approaches and delegate effectively.
  • Promote creativity through data-led planning and technology.
  • Support client audits and collaborate with Trading and Investment teams.

Commercials

  • Drive all WPP Media OOH offerings and communicate benefits to agencies and clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive additional revenue.
  • Inspire teams to maintain campaign systems and service charters.
  • Use and train others on internal and industry tools and systems.
  • Ensure adherence to WPP Media OOH’s 4D planning philosophy.
  • Promote convergence of OOH with mobile, digital, social, and traditional media.

People

  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver effective OOH solutions.
  • Oversee and develop Account Directors, Senior Account Managers, and Account Managers.
  • Act as mentor and role model for junior staff.
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives, training, forums, and events.
  • Participate in internal groups and events (e.g., Green Team, Team Roots, Team Pride, Team Enable, Mental Health Allies).
