Role Summary and Impact
This role is part of ZEUR UK team and the Planner Buyer will be responsible for the execution of eCommerce/Retail Media activity, building strong platform knowledge and supplier relationships, to autonomously deliver flawless testing and media plans, optimisation, and analysis. You will have in-platform experience, running RDM campaigns for FMCG clients and be an excellent communicator, being able to clearly present RDM campaign data to stakeholders. This role will be a key support to the UK Retail Media Lead (Director) and will report into the UK RDM Account Director.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively run best practice compliant campaigns, ensuring ongoing and timely optimisation is delivered and constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance.
- Take ownership of some of the elements of the testing plan, suggesting new ideas, planning, executing and evaluating tests with methodical accuracy.
- Ensure that wider client or team deliverables (such as performance commentary and weekly reporting) are prepared, working with other team members on delivery of this information, and ensuring quality of output is maintained.
- Collaborate with and support other team members in the implementation, optimisation and management of client campaigns.
- Interact effectively within your client team, and with the client and suppliers, building solid external working relationships and establishing rapport.
- Conduct performance analysis, internal data maintenance, issue identification and solution development.
- Support on the day-to-day process across activation, minimising error and risk, and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to established processes.
- Identify gaps in achievement of goals, objectives and/or processes, and work with the line manager to improve performance and drive efficiencies.
- Deliver responses with data and evidence led insights, ambitious innovation opportunities to push things forward.
- Agree objectives with your line manager to ensure constant progression.
- Contribute to OpenMind culture in the team – great people with clear goals, objectives, and development plans.
Skills and Experience
- Deep eCommerce knowledge and experience, with valid platform certifications in place.
- Proficient in Amazon, Criteo, Citrus and an understanding of the main UK retailers (Sainsbury’s, Tesco, ASDA, Morrison’s, Ocado etc.) and Quick Commerce Partners (Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc.).
- Experience with bid management platforms (Skai, Pacvue).
- Self-motivated and able to manage their and their supporting team members’ time effectively.
- Operationally proficient.
- An affinity for numbers.
- An analytical thinker.
- Keen to drive continued specialism excellence and client account performance.
- Data-literacy – aware of the available resources and how to turn data into insights that shape clear strategic opportunities.
