Role Summary And Impact

Openmind, part of WPP, is an integrated agency model drawing on talent from across WPP. It has been created to accelerate the European transformation for Nestlé’s media function. Core to the solution is advanced best‑in‑class data and technology, fuelled by WPP’s investment in AI, to maximise the impact of Nestlé media investment. The account is looking for a ZEUR Paid Social Lead to integrate with existing category service teams and provide quality Paid Social strategic experience and leadership. The role offers variety, focusing on delivering strategic recommendations and consultancy, helping to lay the framework for excellence via local activation/delivery. The individual must be a strong storyteller, integrate a social narrative into overarching strategies, and operate as a true leader within the channel while keeping colleagues and clients up to date with the latest news from the Social Landscape. As we enter 2026, greater focus will be on integrating Paid/Owned/Earned into overarching strategic recommendations, requiring perspective on holistic social and how it can support campaigns.

Openmind Responsibilities

  • Operate as the category expert in Paid Social for ZEUR, supporting the various needs of the clients.
  • Support zone digital leadership with evolution and development of paid social offering across the region, including all scoped category teams’ social queries and validation of client recommendations.
  • Design a Paid Social roadmap and apply maturity frameworks for each scope category to frame strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure that Nestlé Global Paid Social best practices are applied throughout all strategic recommendations and support their application through to local activation.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with key strategic media partners, embracing new media, technology, and data opportunities as they emerge.
  • Develop zone‑level Paid Social strategies to maximise biddable performance across Nestlé Europe, adapting them for specific business units with differing objectives and budgets.
  • Work closely with the ZEUR Nestlé Leads to align Paid Social strategic focuses with those of each business unit and with Nestlé at a global level.
  • Build a constructive, positive rapport with senior client contacts and main partners (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.), positioning yourself as the discipline expert.
  • Present confidently and communicate the value of paid social to the wider Nestlé business, distilling details into key actions and outcomes for relevant stakeholders. Storytelling capability is integral.
  • Commit to driving initiatives that utilise first‑party data to support the client’s regional ambitions.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in Paid Social and adapt strategy accordingly, aligning with global Nestlé guidance.
  • Share knowledge and best practices between OpenMind and Channel & Solutions teams.

Skills And Experience

  • Impressive track record of devising and implementing Paid Social strategies with measurable business performance improvements.
  • Experience with businesses composed of multiple units and the complexity of overlapping social requirements.
  • Experience devising multi‑market strategies within Europe or globally.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all paid social areas from granular campaign setup to impactful reporting.
  • Experience across varying levels of digital and market maturity.
  • Ability to connect outcomes to business decisions and discuss insights with clients that inform broader media elements.
  • Ability to demystify Paid Social so clients and teams understand required actions. Craft and deliver stories that resonate beyond specialists.
