We are seeking a skilled and proactive Account Manager to execute and optimize Audio-Visual and Print media Planning and Buying for our esteemed Google client account (MFG).In this role, it would be ideal to have previous Print experience to bring to the team alongsidea want to further learn and upskill in a broader AV role.

You will be responsible for managing placements across various channels (Print, TV, VOD, Radio, Cinema, Digital Video) across Google client product lines, ensuring campaigns are
delivered on time, on budget and against agreed-upon KPIs. You will play a vital part in implementing innovative buying techniques, fostering effective media owner relationships and contributing to the creation of hyper-personalised and impactful media experiences that drive desire for our client's luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Buying & Execution:

  • Execute media buys across designated channels (Print, Linear TV, VOD, Connected TV, Radio, Digital Audio, Cinema) based on approved media plans and strategies.
  • Lead on Print planning and buying within the team, bringing market knowledge and executional understanding.
  • Manage campaign pacing, delivery and performance, making real-time optimizations to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all buying placements adhere to client guidelines, creative specifications andindustry best practices.

Budget Management & Reporting:

  • Manage media budgets for assigned campaigns, accurately tracking spend andensuring reconciliation with media owners.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, analysing data to identify trends, insights andoptimisation opportunities.
  • Present campaign results and key learnings to the AV Lead / Associate Director andinternal teams.
  • Working with the Finance team to ensure best practice in bookings and datamanagement.

Negotiation & Relationship Management:

  • Conduct negotiations with AV/Print media owners and providers for specificcampaigns, seeking to achieve optimal rates, inventory and value for our client.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with media vendor representatives.
  • Stay informed about market rates, inventory availability and new opportunities withinthe AV and Print landscape.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal planning, digital performance, account management andcreative teams to ensure seamless campaign activation and integrated mediasolutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on campaign status, performance andany issues that arise.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed, particularlyaround upskilling in Print media activation.
  • Ensuring ongoing MMM data integrity and budget consistency across mediachannels.

Process & Best Practices:

  • Adhere to all WPP Media internal processes, financial procedures and client servicestandards related to media buying.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AV/Print media buying processes andadoption of industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in AV media buying or a similar role within a media agency.
  • Proven experience in executing and optimizing media campaigns across key mediachannels (e.g. Linear TV, VOD, Connected TV, Radio, Cinema, Print, DigitalAudio/Video).
  • Strong understanding of AV and Print media metrics, buying models and campaignperformance analysis.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build rapport with media owners.
  • Proficiency in relevant buying platforms and tools (e.g. Mediaocean, BARB, RAJAR,JET data systems).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in managingbudgets and data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting informationclearly and accurately.
  • Highly organized, proactive and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlinessimultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
