Overview

Paid Search Senior Account Executive responsible for the execution of paid search activity. Deliver structured experimentations, accurate media plans & billing, performance optimisation, and reporting & analysis. Manage supplier relationships and support a high‑performance, client‑centric team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality work and providing guidance.
  • Adhere to the Wavemaker Way for Paid Search and contribute to product development.
  • Leverage available technology and third‑party tools (e.g., Unlock, GroupM Automations Portal).
  • Conduct day‑to‑day QA across activation, minimizing error and risk.
  • Build solid working relationships with internal client teams, clients and suppliers.
  • Prepare performance commentary and weekly reporting; maintain high quality of output.
  • Collaborate with Global Hub to ensure diagnostics and governance meet the highest standards.
  • Actively participate in Paid Search community events, training and internal meetings.
  • Collaborate on the implementation and optimisation of paid search campaigns.
  • Run best‑practice compliant campaigns, continuously optimising and seeking performance improvements.
  • Identify gaps, propose solutions and work with line managers to improve performance and drive efficiencies.
  • Spot data trends, fix alerts and anomalies before they become issues.
  • Own elements of the testing plan: generate ideas, plan, execute and evaluate tests with accuracy.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met, deadlines achieved and tasks managed via the project‑management suite.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Deep, current Paid Search knowledge with certifications in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience with bid management and core PPC technology platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, GMP, SA360, Adobe).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Google Data Studio or a similar reporting platform.
  • Operational proficiency and strong project‑management skills; manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self‑starter with a passion for digital marketing and a willingness to push boundaries.
  • Analytical mindset focused on causation, not just correlation; translate insight into actionable strategy.
  • Immaculate attention to detail and proactive attitude.
