We are seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst on a 6-month FTC basis to support the delivery of our IT Financial Management (ITFM) and Technology Business Management (TBM) platform. This initiative will replace legacy manual processes, establishing a modern, scalable financial architecture for ET.

Reporting to the ET ITFM Platform Implementation Director, you will be instrumental in supporting the detailed design, configuration, testing, and business readiness of the platform. While the Director focuses on programme strategy and senior stakeholder engagement, you will help translate design decisions into working system functionality, collaborate with vendors, gather requirements from business and finance teams, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

This ambitious programme encompasses FP&A planning, cost modelling, recharge allocation, and benchmarking, impacting approximately 700 operating companies and all WPP Networks. A critical milestone is the complete rebuild of the ET budget process for FY2027 (due July 2026), and you will be instrumental in building and testing its underlying models.

What you'll be doing:

  • Shape the Future of IT Finance: Design, configure, and build our cutting‑edge IT Financial Management platform, developing robust cost models, allocation hierarchies, and seamless data integrations.
  • Bridge Business & Technology: Act as the vital link between finance, business, and technical teams, translating complex financial requirements into powerful platform solutions that drive strategic decision‑making.
  • Drive Project Excellence: Lead vendor and partner coordination, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery against project specifications and proactively managing risks.
  • Guarantee Precision: Oversee comprehensive testing (UAT & SIT) and rigorously validate all financial outputs, ensuring the platform delivers accurate, reconciled, and auditable data.
  • Automate Financial Planning: Revolutionise our budgeting and forecasting processes by implementing automated models that bring transparency and accuracy to our financial planning.
  • Champion Adoption: Empower our finance and technology teams through effective training, support, and change management, ensuring maximum platform value and a smooth transition.

What you'll need:

  • Strong Financial Foundation: You're a financial whiz, holding a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not essential.
  • Implementation Drive: A keen interest and hands‑on experience contributing to system implementation or financial transformation projects. You're eager to build and configure cutting‑edge solutions.
  • Analytical Power: You excel at dissecting complex data, translating it into clear insights, and building robust financial models.
  • Tech Curiosity: A natural curiosity for technology and how systems work, comfortable engaging with technical teams and vendors.
  • Project Mindset: Proven ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute effectively to project delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Communication Pro: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders from finance to tech.
  • Tool Kit: Proficiency in Excel is essential, plus exposure to ERP systems (like SAP/Oracle) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) is a bonus.

You're someone who is:

  • Detail‑Oriented & Accurate: Meticulous and committed to data accuracy, ensuring everything is spot‑on.
  • Problem Solver: A natural problem‑solver, thriving on finding practical, effective solutions to complex challenges.
  • Collaborative: Builds strong relationships and influences effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Proactive & Driven: Takes ownership, sees tasks through, and is genuinely passionate about transforming finance with technology.
  • Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease and a positive attitude.

Benefits:

  • Passionate, inspired people: We aim to create a culture in which people can do extraordinary work.
  • Scale and opportunity: We offer the opportunity to create, influence and complete projects at a scale that is unparalleled in the industry.
  • Challenging and stimulating work: Unique work and the opportunity to join a group of creative problem solvers. Are you up for the challenge?
  • Hybrid working: Teams in the office around four days a week. If accommodations or flexibility are required, discuss with the hiring team during interview process.
