We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Development Administrator to support our Business Development and Healthcare Practice teams. This is a varied role that plays a key part in ensuring our commercial activities, events and internal processes run smoothly and efficiently. Full time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday). Please note this role is office based in Taunton, Somerset. Starting salary of £27,000 plus a non-contractual annual bonus.

The role
As Business Development Administrator, you’ll play a central role in supporting the smooth operation of our Business Development and Healthcare Practice teams. Acting as a key point of administrative and coordination support, you’ll help ensure that day-to-day activities, events and projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. This role is varied and fast-paced, combining core administrative responsibilities with event coordination, reporting and process improvement. You’ll work closely with Business Development Directors, regional teams and internal stakeholders, providing practical support that enables them to focus on building strong relationships and delivering commercial success. You’ll be responsible for managing calendars, travel arrangements and meetings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting finance administration such as invoices and expenses. You’ll also play an important part in onboarding new team members, helping to create a positive and well-organised induction experience.

You’re confident managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing requirements, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You have previous experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role and are comfortable working with data, producing reports and maintaining accurate records. You communicate clearly and professionally, building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You’re proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline ways of working and contribute ideas that enhance efficiency.
