The Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer to lead WPA’s marketing design and event delivery and play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage with our clients, partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for WPA’s digital presence by managing website content such as blogs and case studies and working to improve the overall user experience.
- Maintain and update the CRM database to support effective, targeted communications.
- Create high-quality marketing collateral for use across WPA events and promotional activity.
- Increase market presence, generate opportunities and build partner and supplier loyalty, using data‑led insight, customer feedback, competitor analysis and performance reporting to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Qualifications
- Experience in a marketing or digital marketing role, ideally within the construction or housing sector.
- Strong understanding of strategic planning and delivery, with the ability to evaluate and report on marketing campaigns while continuously striving for improvement.
- Ability to produce engaging content, alongside experience developing and implementing intuitive, innovative marketing strategies.
- Excellent spoken and written communication.
- A creative and commercially aware mindset.
- Strong decision‑making capability.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
