WP3 offers a unique and exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated graduates to join our team and begin their career. We’re recruiting for building services engineers who can specialise in either mechanical or electrical or ideally learn both. At WP3 we provide client and quality focused building services advice, solutions and engineering. We take a holistic approach, able to service projects from a feasibility/concept phase right through to delivery, completion and post-occupancy support.
Being a young company with a fresh and distinctly different approach, you can get in at the 'ground floor' to both witness and benefit from our rapid growth. Though our current office is in central London, we have a very flexible approach to working from home or remotely. We’re looking for multiple graduate engineers to join our team with the possibility of advancing into more senior roles within a short period of time.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, and any knowledge of building services and or other disciplines would be beneficial but is not a strict pre-requisite. We’re just looking for good people! We will work with the graduate to identify and provide extensive training and development opportunities that particularly interest them, with a view to tailor their long term development in areas of interest and progress their career in the direction that they desire.
The breadth of services provided by WP3 will require the candidate to have:
- A flexible working approach and an interest in engineering
- Strong communication and team working skills
- A passion for learning and solving problems
- An understanding of or interest in sustainable design, technologies and practices
- A driven and proactive attitude
If you don’t feel you have enough experience in building services, don’t let that stop you from applying! We will offer a wide range of training and will give you every possible chance to gain experience in all aspects of office-based and site-based engineering work. With our wide range of projects, you’ll be expected to be capable of working effectively both independently and as a member of a large team.
You will learn to effectively communicate in technical language, as well as simplify engineering solutions for coordination with non-technical design team partners and clients – a key aspect of our business mantra. Very clearly setting this role apart from others, you will be provided with significant client-facing roles & responsibilities providing an accelerated career path for the right person.
The ideal candidate will meet the following competency and software familiarity requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in excel and word
- Some familiarity with AutoCAD (or similar) and experience in 3D BIM software is a bonus
Package and Benefits:
- Flexible working (location and hours)
- 25 days leave p.a. (plus bank holidays, of course)
- Personal health insurance
- Gym in the office (at no cost)
- Performance related bonuses
- Market leading salary (better than just competitive!)
