Duration: Immediate start, ongoing (may be temp to perm for the right candidate)
Duties:
- Vehicle checks, basic maintenance and reporting defects
- Safe operation of plant
- Collection and delivery of materials, unloading vehicle including use of barrow, where needed
- Tarmacking, kerbing, concreting and general groundwork, when required
- Adherence to technical specifications, schedules, standards and health & safety
Experience:
- Must have valid Category C Licence, CPC and commercial driving experience plus valid Lorry Mounted Crane ticket with Clamshell Grab/Bucket attachment
- Previous experience within civil engineering, construction or highways industry is preferred
- Must be flexible with duties and happy to undertake manual handling tasks
- Must be physically fit due to nature of duties
- Must be able to work well as part of a team as well as own initiative
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Please note at times there may be more time spent on manual duties than on driving duties
Salary: £13.85 per hour worked, overtime paid at 1.5 (when available)
