Overview
Production Operatives (Electronics) – Industry: Manufacturing – Location: Newport – Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working between 6.30am and 5pm) – Days: Monday – Friday – Duration: initial 4 week trial, may then be extended to 12 weeks and potentially temp to perm for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Electronic and mechanical assembly, using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables.
- Use of hand and small power tools
- Working to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards.
- Adherence to health & safety.
Experience / Qualifications
- A good level of previous electronics assembly experience is required, soldering experience is an advantage.
- Experience within the aerospace or automotive industries is preferred.
- Experience of SMT an advantage.
- Must have good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards.
- Must be able to work on own initiative, to instruction and timescales, as well as part of a team.
Salary
Starting on £12.21 ( increasing after 12 weeks )
