360 Excavator Driver/Highways Operative Industry: Civil Engineering Location: Isle of Wight Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am – 4.30pm Days: Monday – Friday Duration: ongoing temporary (potentially permanent for the right candidate) Duties: Groundwork and civil engineering duties including: excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying and tarmacking. Operation of plant, machinery and hand tools. Manual handling, driving and vehicle checks. Adherence to technical specifications, quality and health and safety standards. Experience: Must have good level of previous groundwork experience, (civil engineering preferred), a full driver’s licence, (7.5 tonne (C1)driving licence preferred) and a valid 360 Excavator ticket. Must be reliable and physically fit, due to the nature of the duties and work well to instruction and as part of a team.
