Laminator in Newport

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm
Days: Monday – Wednesday initially, increasing to Monday – Friday after 3 weeks
Duration: temporary, immediate start for a minimum of 6 weeks

Duties

• Wet lay up, hand laminating of composite structures to technical specifications
• Trimming and finishing, operation of power tools
• Control of materials and stock rotation
• Adherence to health and safety, COSHH and quality standards
• Assist in fit‑out and site installations as required

Experience and Skills

• Previous wet laminating experience and a good technical aptitude
• Competent at using power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health and safety and flexibility with duties

Salary

£14.00 per hour worked
