Industry: Training/Marine/Leisure

Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight (mainland / international travel may occasionally be required)

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm (may be required to be flexible for occasional events)

Days: Monday - Friday (may be required to be flexible for occasional events)

Duration: Permanent

Duties

  • Working within a small team promoting national and international training courses, events and tailored services
  • First point of contact for all telephone, email and live chat sales enquiries
  • Following up enquiries, securing bookings and updating systems
  • Assisting with marketing, social media posts and updating website with course availability
  • Processing customer details, correspondence and maintaining databases
  • Create invoices, chase customers for payment if necessary
  • Assisting in arranging and attending exhibitions and careers fairs (if required)
  • Help deliver careers advice and CV service
  • Meet and greet participants, assist with operations and travel arrangements

Experience

  • Previous, proven sales experience, excellent customer service/communication and presentation skills are essential
  • Strong administrative and IT skills including social media and Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new systems
  • Must have a positive/proactive attitude, be able to work on own initiative as well a part of a small team and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • A knowledge of the marine industry is an advantage

£30,000 per annum
