Duties
- Working within a small team promoting national and international training courses, events and tailored services
- First point of contact for all telephone, email and live chat sales enquiries
- Following up enquiries, securing bookings and updating systems
- Assisting with marketing, social media posts and updating website with course availability
- Processing customer details, correspondence and maintaining databases
- Create invoices, chase customers for payment if necessary
- Assisting in arranging and attending exhibitions and careers fairs (if required)
- Help deliver careers advice and CV service
- Meet and greet participants, assist with operations and travel arrangements
Experience
- Previous, proven sales experience, excellent customer service/communication and presentation skills are essential
- Strong administrative and IT skills including social media and Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new systems
- Must have a positive/proactive attitude, be able to work on own initiative as well a part of a small team and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable
- A knowledge of the marine industry is an advantage
