ABOUT WP PRECISION SYSTEMS
WP Precision Systems Ltd. works with organisations that need stronger control of measurement equipment, compliance evidence, and engineering processes. Our approach is practical: clarify the requirement, organise the information, improve the control, and make the result usable for the team that owns it. We understand that quality systems have to survive real production conditions, which means simple visibility, traceable records, and improvement actions that make sense to engineering, operations, and audit stakeholders.
Founded by an engineer with over 10 years' experience across electronics manufacturing, test systems, RF up to 42 GHz, medical devices, and safety-critical production environments (ISO 9001/13485), we support UK SME manufacturers (50-250 employees) across the Midlands.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a freelance sales/BD partner to help identify and open conversations with SME manufacturers who need calibration compliance support or engineering consulting. You will bring the relationships and outreach; we provide the technical credibility to close.
What you'll do:

- Qualify leads and set up introductory calls
- Represent WP Precision's compliance software, managed services, and engineering consulting offering
- Work independently, on your own schedule
What we're looking for:
- Experience selling B2B services into manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
- Existing network within UK SME manufacturing (East Midlands a plus)
- Comfortable with a commission-only structure
- Self-directed, able to manage your own pipeline
COMPENSATION
Subscription sales (Calibration Compliance Bundles): first-month commission of 75-100%, depending on package size (smaller packages: 100%, larger packages: 75%), plus 10% ongoing trailing commission for as long as the client remains active. Engineering Solutions projects: 15-20% commission on project value. No cap on earnings - fully performance-based.
