We are currently seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Lawyer to join a dynamic and highly regarded legal team based in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the largest and most impressive Real Estate teams in the region, working with an enviable and diverse client base.
Role Overview: You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking Commercial Real Estate team with a strong presence across the South East. The team is recognised for its technical excellence, sector knowledge, and high-quality client service.
In this role, you will advise on a broad range of Real Estate matters including:
- Acquisitions & Disposals
- Plot Sales
- Real Estate Finance
- Commercial and Residential Development
- Real Estate Disputes
- Landlord & Tenant matters
- Investment and Asset Management
You will work closely with colleagues across departments including Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, and Banking & Finance, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of real estate assets. Senior candidates will also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
Qualifications and Experience: We welcome applications from Associates, Senior Associates, and Partners with the following:
- A minimum of 1+ PQE (or equivalent experience) as a qualified solicitor or conveyancer with a focus on real estate
- Strong experience in commercial real estate, ideally including plot sales and asset management
- Proven ability to advise on complex real estate transactions and portfolio management
- Experience supporting corporate transactions, including real estate aspects of M&A
- A solid understanding of property law, conveyancing processes, and development work
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- High attention to detail and strong drafting ability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
