Their team has a wealth of experience advising on a broad range of financing and funding arrangements, including secured lending structures, asset finance, project finance, acquisition finance, and real estate finance. They work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from banks and alternative lenders to developers, corporations, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is well positioned to provide advice on both domestic and complex cross-border transactions.
The Role
As a Banking & Finance Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading the firm’s banking and finance team. The firm is seeking a strategic leader with a strong market presence who is eager to grow the team, develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the banking and finance practice, contributing to the firm's strategic objectives.
- Advise clients on a wide range of finance transactions, including acquisition finance, asset-based lending, loan agreements, debt finance, development finance, mezzanine funding, real estate finance, and secured lending.
- Collaborate with other practice areas, including Corporate, Real Estate Finance, and Disputes, to provide integrated solutions for clients.
- Foster strong client relationships and build new business opportunities.
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team.
The Candidate
- Significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking and finance law with a proven track record at a senior level.
- A strong client following or demonstrable ability to generate business.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a successful team.
- Excellent technical legal skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
